Abu was founded by a group of Arabian Horse owners in 1968 and has been working tirelessly since that time to promote the Arabian Horse to all. We are comprised mainly of members who reside in northern Illinois and Indiana.
Abu has a long history of members not only dedicated to the Arabian Horse but also to one another. We have many long time members, including Jeanette Westphal and Nancy Herlitz, who have initiated and passed on the idea that we are not just club members but family.
